Often used and now worldwide spread for the advantages that they offer,- the CNC power tools with numerical control-are reliable tools which allow the creation of parts and subassemblies with very different shapes and sizes. The power tool with numerical control has two parts: the actual machine and the numerical control equipment. (CNC)
The numerical control of such a piece of equipment is the program in which the system works completely or partially with information in numerical shape. The CNC equipments of these power tools are available in a diverse range, being created after the principle of the numerical controls of positioning or contouring.
A power tool executes the movements predefined in relation with specific axes to each one of them-this being a linear movement or a rotating motion. Normally, such power tool has 3-5 translation axes (X,Y,Z) and 3 rotating axes (A,B,C) that rotate around the first 3. To these 6 axes others can be added up, which depends on the machine. However, in practice, most of these machines only have 2 or 3 axes, and the movements are obtained either by the movement of the part, or by the movement of the tool.
